Registration for Career Support and Drives
  • Students who are interested in participating in campus hiring during their final year should register their names as soon as CDC notifies them they will receive an email / message on WhatsApp group.
  • if a students should ensure their respective credentials available with CDC are up-to-date.
  • In the event that a student fails to register, that particular student will be categorized as unregistered for all types of placement activities.
  • If at any point, it comes to our attention that students have provided false information, strict disciplinary action will be taken against those candidates. This may include debarring such students from the placement process entirely
  • If any student is interested in pursuing higher education, they also need to register with the CDC under the higher education stream.
  • The CDC will inform students about the campus drives through circulars. Students are advised to thoroughly review the circulars and company profiles.
  • The eligibility criteria set by the visiting company are final and binding.
Participation in Campus Hiring
  • It is mandatory for all registered and shortlisted students to attend drives without fail. Failure to do so will result in the student not being considered for any upcoming drives. However, this may be relaxed to those students who fail to appear in a selection process on medical grounds or due to any other genuine reasons giving sufficient written explanation for the same.
  • The company will have its criteria to shortlist students for further rounds after the registration process. Students should not contest such decisions by the company.
  • If a student who is not having requisite eligibility criteria is found attending a selection process, he/she will be dealt seriously.
  • Shortlisted students are required to bring a minimum of 2 copies of their resume and all the necessary documents to the drive.
  • DRESS CODE: Students are required to attend the drives in professional attire (For both Physical / Virtual placement processes). Those who come dressed casually will not be permitted to participate in any of the selection processes.
  • Throughout the placement process, all students are required to wear their College I-Cards visibly around their necks
  • REPORTING TIME: Students must ensure that they report on time as indicated in the placement circular/WhatsApp group. Those arriving late will not be permitted to participate in the process, whether it's a Physical or Virtual placement event.
  • Once a student is shortlisted, he/she is obligated to complete the entire selection process unless they are rejected midway by the company. Deliberate withdrawal by any student during a selection process will result in their disqualification from further placement opportunities.
  • Any clarification regarding the nature of work and terms & conditions must be sought from the companies during Pre placement Talk.
  • Students are required to maintain a professional decorum during the Placements/Recruitment programme. Any behavior that brings disgrace to the Institute will not be tolerated, and strict action will be taken against such students.
  • During the placement process held on the college campus, students must arrive at the venue and be seated at least 15 minutes before the scheduled time. Failure to report on time will result in disqualification from the recruitment process. Punctuality is crucial, as once the HR personnel or company representative enters the venue, all doors will be closed, and latecomers will not be allowed to enter.
  • During Placement Drives, there is a possibility that the timing may extend beyond the college working hours. In such cases, students should make their own arrangements to reach their residence and safety connected to such commutation is the sole responsibility of students.
  • Based on the directions given by the companies, students may be sent to attend pooled campus placement drives in other colleges. Students should inform their Parents/Guardians about the same.
Selection and Onboarding
  • Students selected through on/ off-campus drives should submit a copy of the offer letter to CDC without fail.
  • Upon receiving the Letter of Intent or Offer Letter from a specific employer, the selected candidate is expected to comply with the terms and conditions outlined in the offer. The CDC and PES Trust will not be held accountable for any consequences that may arise from the candidate's acceptance and adherence to those terms.
  • If a company rejects/withdraws the issued offer letter at any point in time, for whatever reason, neither CDC nor PES management will bear any responsibility for the rejection.
  • If a company requests an immediate decision on joining and to signing the offer, students who choose to sign under such circumstances are expected to honor their commitment and join the company without making any excuses. Once a student accepts the offer he/she will not be allowed to attend any other drives thereafter.
  • Once the onboarding process begins or the student starts working for the company in any capacity, they will be bound by the terms and conditions set forth by the company. CDC or PES Trust will not have any role whatsoever in extending undue favors.
Multiple offers policy

Students are not allowed to have a maximum of two offers from the placement opportunities provided by the CDC. Additionally, a Dream offer opportunity will be provided, subject to the discretion of Team CDC / PES Trust.

NOTE :

  • The department placement coordinator is the single point of contact for the concerned department Students. For all kinds of clarifications & communications (such as registration for placement assistance, updating the database, etc.,) should be executed through the concerned department placement coordinator and HOD.
  • Students are strongly advised to consistently use a single Email ID and Contact Number for all communication during Campus Placements. It is essential to check their Email ID, including the JUNK & SPAM folders, at least twice daily to stay updated on any notifications from the company or the CDC.

Students should strictly observe cyber hygiene practices and should not share confidential personal and banking information like OTP, CVV etc. with to any company. If any student shares such information and eventually faces adverse consequences, neither CDC nor PES Trust will be held responsible.
